I grew up in Yangzhou, China, and graduated from Yangzhou High School.
After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Reading in England, I went on to earn a master’s degree from Columbia University.
I then moved to Chicago to begin my PhD training. In my spare time, I specialize in wildlife photography—feel free to visit the Gallery page to explore my work.
During the summer of 2024, I worked at the International Monetary Fund’s Monetary and Capital Markets Department.
There, I helped develop a prototype financial inclusion policy database using large language model applications.
This groundbreaking initiative was the first to offer detailed, context-specific insights into financial inclusion practices worldwide.
Starting 2025, I served as senior economist at New Mexico TRD.
